The son of Oleg Gazmanov posted a fragment of a video on social networks in which he talks with Nikolai Baskov after the performance. The tenor began to praise Rodion:
“By the way, you have a great song, I like it. About a girl.”
Gazmanov’s heir, who recently apologized to the people, suggested that we are talking about the hit “Lucy,” thanks to which he became famous throughout the country as a child.
“No, not “Lucy,” I’m talking about today’s track,” Basque clarified.
Rodion also told his interlocutor that the song “Lucy” was also initially about a girl. The Basque was slightly taken aback by this unexpected information. Later, he finally collected his thoughts and completed his sentence. It turned out that Nikolai had in mind Rodion’s own track “The Girl Wants to Go to Heaven.” But the singer did not know about Gazmanov’s secret related to the hit “Lucy”.

It turned out that many Gazmanov fans know this secret. Let us remember that the singer initially wrote the song for himself, and it was about a mysterious stranger. However, before the premiere, Gazmanov suddenly lost his voice. The singer decided that Rodion would sing, and urgently remade the composition in a children’s way. So Lucy turned from a mysterious beauty into a dog.
