Kristiansunderen is listed with an income of just over NOK 108 million in the tax lists for 2019.
This is significantly up from the previous year. In the lists for 2018, Solskjær is listed with around NOK 7 million in income.
Solskjær was hired as interim manager for United in December 2018. In March 2019, he was given a “permanent position” – to the extent that football coaches in England can be said to have job security.
British media have previously written that Solskjær has a salary around £ 8 million a year. At today’s exchange rate, this corresponds to NOK 93 million.
The former United striker contributed in 2019 with around 2 million kroner in taxes to Norway. Most of his tax contribution, however, ends up in the British treasury, as Solskjær is known to live and work in Manchester, England.
On the wealth side, the arrows also point upwards. While Solskjær last year was listed with just over 24 million in taxable wealth, the figure is now up to 70.5 million kroner.
