Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla rejected the fallacious statements of the US President, “poorly advised and attached to failed rhetoric,” during his visit to Florida on Friday.
“In his electoral opportunism he does not explain how the elimination of travel and exchanges, the attack on Cuban families and the brutal tightening of the blockade help the Cuban people,” wrote the Cuban head of Foreign Affairs in his account on the social network Twitter.
Donald Trump traveled to Florida to beat the drums of war, on a journey totally removed from the reality of his country. There he flaunted his use of the nearly 2.5 trillion used to rebuild the US military. How many of the more than 130,000 Americans
who died from COVID-19 could have been saved with a minimum part of that money?
