Police in the United States announced that they found old nuclear missile in a man’s garage.

On Wednesday, the Ohio Military Museum alerted law enforcement that they had an offer for a rather unusual donation. A squad of sappers was immediately dispatched to the donor’s home.

There they discover an unguided air-to-air missile that was designed to carry nuclear warhead W25 with a power of 1.5 kt”. Luckily, there was no warhead attached to it, police said.

Bellevue Police Department spokesman Seth Tyler told BBC News the device was “just a gas tank for rocket fuel” and marked it as “safe”.

The owner of the rocket said it belonged to a neighbor who had died. Since it has been declared by law enforcement as a “non-explosive artifact,” now it will be restored and exhibited in a museum.

Such missiles are believed to have been owned by USA and Canada during the Cold War.
