Jefferson tells in The voice of Holland that he once approached Anouk on the street. “Anouk lives around the corner from me, I have no idea where. But I had already thought to myself: if I ever meet her and I have a guitar ready, I just ask if I can sing a song for her”, he explains. And that happened.

When Jefferson was rehearsing with a friend, Anouk suddenly walked by. He sang two songs for her and also got some advice from the singer. Now he’s back in TVOH with her own song, for which Anouk played immediately. But she wasn’t the only one; Glennis, Ali and Waylon also want Jefferson on their team. Waylon even went so far as to block Anouk.

“You really enjoy it,” Ali responds to the performance. It seems to the rapper an interesting idea to have Jefferson sing a ‘sensitive’ song. “I would have loved to coach you, because I think you are fantastic”, says Anouk, after which she advises him to go for Glennis. “The picture is just right,” says Glennis. Waylon makes a plea, but in the end Jefferson chooses Glennis.
It goes hard against hard TVOH, but there is also plenty of time for jokes:
