In order to improve and guarantee the health and safety of the workers, the CEO of the Olam Rubber Gabon (ORG) Profit Center, Saurav SINGH has updated the activities of his Health and Safety at Work committee.
According to the provisions of Order 006/MTEPS relating to the members and the operation of the Occupational Health and Safety Committees (CSST), the members who are part of that committee were submitted in the presence of the administrative body, the representative of the Department. For new active members, this initiative is a legal obligation that requires all companies with more than 50 employees to establish this workplace safety committee.
“We are delighted that this committee is resuming these activities today, we care about the safety of Olam Rubber workers. According to article 006/MTEPS, a Health and Safety at Work committee should be established if the company has reached the number of at least 50 employees for 12 consecutive months or in the previous 3 years.
