The KDAP with the N.P.D.D. OKPAPA of the Municipality of Ioannina was visited today Friday by the Mayor of Ioannina Mr. Dimitrios Papageorgiou with the President of OKPAPA. Mr. Dimitrios Panou.
The Mayor was informed about the possibilities and actions of the KDAP with A and a tour of the site, as well as a discussion with the employees to improve the services provided to the beneficiaries.
The KDAP with the N.P.D.D. OKPAPA of the Municipality of Ioannina was founded in 2019 and is a fully organized space with physiotherapy and occupational therapy equipment, areas for table activities, feeding and rest areas and a privately owned bus that serves 25 children with disabilities from the age of 6 up to 25 years old.
The Mayor stated that he was completely satisfied both with the space of the KDAP with disabilities and the completeness of the infrastructure, as well as with the effort made by the staff of the KDAP with disabilities to provide the best possible care to the benefiting children and reminded that the work on the “Center for the Child” in the old Aniaton Asylum, where two 25- and 15-place KDAP and one KDAP for children of typical development will operate.
The President of O.K.P.A.P.A. Mr. Dimitrios Panou stated that the KDAP meA is a complete structure both in terms of the required equipment and the necessary specialties in the staff. The services offered to children are excellent. He thanked the Mayor for the visit and his interest in the OKPAPA structures. as well as the employee for responsibility and conscientiousness in the performance of their duties.
