The so-called ‘heartbeat law’, which recently came into force in Texas, has forced many women to seek alternatives in neighboring states to be able to undergo the procedure. In Oklahoma, the Trust Women clinic has seen an increase in the number of appointments requested, a large part of the calls received have been from Texans.
