“Okean Elzy” – a rock band that has become one of the symbols of Ukraine’s unbreakability

Immediately after the start of a large-scale Russian war in Ukraine, the group “Okean Elzy” and its leader Svyatoslav Vakarchuk sang in underground shelters, in cities destroyed by rockets and at the front with soldiers.

And they also organize charity concerts in other parts of the world this year to collect donations for the support of the Ukrainian army.

That’s why their song “Obiymi” or “Embrace” was played this morning in 900 seconds, the video for it was filmed by Svyatoslav Vakarchuk last spring in the ruined ruins of Kharkiv.
