Almost that time again; Holland sings Hazes. The event where both André Hazes and Rachel will be present. After his mother ordered him not to use the name André Hazes anymore, the tension between the two became palpable. (see video). The question now is whether this will affect André’s decision to play at these concerts at all.
In the Strikt Privé podcast, Evert Santegoeds and Jordi Versteegden answer a question about the Holland Zinges Hazes concerts. “Do you think that André Hazes can avoid concerts now that he is against his mother? Evert points out that André will get out of it, but that he will then be fined according to a contract drawn up. “Of course, tickets were sold in your name and there are people who want their money back,” he explains.
The editor-in-chief of Privé remains realistic and knows that there is a good chance that André will still appear on the stage. “There was something going on with his mother before and then he was just there,” said Evert. It also reveals that the Ziggo Dome is “very good at” separating family members. Rachel is co-producer of the concert series and will no doubt be spending most of her time back on stage.
Evert is sure that this will not stop André from singing some of his father’s great hits. “I think he’ll disappoint the fans if he’s not there and he puts his mind to zero and does what he has to do.
Rachel’s call against her son
According to Evert, the posters with the name André may help the artist resist his mother’s calling. “That is indeed a strong point for defense if that happens later. That they say: “Yes, Miss Hazes, you bring out Holland singing Hazes and you also called André Hazes.”
In addition, André has announced on his Instagram that he stands by and will not call himself André Hazes Junior without the judge’s intervention. (see video below). “That causes a lot of tension, but they’ve happened before,” says Evert.
