“There is no decrease, but the increase is not as fast as this year. But I am still sure it will grow because this is also the commitment of the actors to provide services,” Tris said on Thursday after the 4th Indonesia Fintech Summit 2022. (10/11/2022).

With the economic outlook ahead, Tris said fintech P2P lenders would be more selective in their capital outlay. This will slow down the growth of fund distribution.

Meanwhile, he said OJK was fighting for a more efficient platform. This way it will be light and efficient for the community.

“For our troubled people, credit is a problem, like lenders are restructuring and so forth,” Tris said. “But we remain optimistic that fintech can still survive and even help address economic pressures in 2023.”

Fintech has been asked not only to distribute funds. However, according to him, it can provide assistance to debtors.

“How to help in a future like this so they can get stronger or face the challenges of 2023 where the pressure is on, some say the economy is dark and so on,” he stressed.
