Civil Protection personnel cleaned up an oil spill that was caused by a traffic accident on 75 North Avenue and El Mirador Street, in the Escalón sector, in San Salvador.
The spill was ten meters long, which put motorists and motorcyclists traveling in that area at risk.
The Civil Protection used sand and earth to clean the area. However, they called on drivers to exercise caution when passing through the intervened area.
Another oil spill was cleaned up on North Fifth Avenue in the vicinity of the Don Rúa roundabout in San Salvador. Dirt was also thrown to remove excess oil.
