Oil rebounds after sharp drop

Oil prices rebounded yesterday, after plummeting more than 5% the day before, after a volatile session, where the market fluctuated between rather reassuring US economic data and fears on the health front.

In New York, the American barrel of WTI for the same month gained 1.9%, or 71 cents, to 38.72 dollars. Decreasing for most of the European session, oil prices recovered after the publication of figures from the Labor Department on the number of unemployment benefit claimants United States.

This morning around 6:30 am, a barrel of Brent rose 0.71% to 41.34 dollars confirming the trend recorded yesterday
