Oil Prices Rise as US Oil Inventories Decline: Latest Data

Oil prices rose after data showed a decline in oil inventories in the United States.

US West Texas Intermediate crude futures rose 0.45% to $72.12 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent crude futures rose by 0.41% to $76.83 a barrel, according to Bloomberg agency data.

US official data showed that oil stocks fell for the third week in a row, falling by 1.5 million barrels.
