As well as the price of US West Texas Intermediate crude, which reached $68.57 per barrel, thus losing more than 0.06%, or 4 cents.
Tensions in the Middle East are still ongoing, as are investors’ fears of a significant decline in production and increased losses.
It is worth noting that oil prices fell by more than 3% upon settlement in Tuesday’s session, and Brent crude futures recorded their lowest levels since June due to fears of a supply glut and US economic data showed a rise in consumer prices in November, contrary to expectations.
