The artist-painter Ben’Pastre, a former Chartresse, has been living in Olivet (Loiret) for nearly thirty years. This Thursday, she returned to her hometown to present around thirty of her oil-painted canvases. This exhibition, entitled Celestial Reaches, is installed in the premises of Éloburo at 2, rue Percheronne.
“The universe of these paintings revolves around the blue hour, this moment floating between dog and wolf, celestial and terrestrial at the same time. Where tranquility struggles with worry, there is something of the order of magical enchantment, when the sky hesitates between the declining blue of day and the deep black of night ”

She seeks in these very recent achievements, born during successive confinements, the share of silence, twilight, calm. It invites reflection and even a quest towards introspection.

The 40th regional artistic fair of the Eure Valley until October 3
Go beyond the limits of the sky
“We were locked up, confined, but we had the sky as a limit, my inspiration comes from these special moments, which allowed me to sublimate the silence and calm, to find myself and to recharge my batteries. “
Born from confinements, these paintings encourage one to escape, to go beyond the limits of the sky, of the celestial vault, to the confines of the universe to, finally, come back to the depths of oneself, find oneself, reflect and meditate.
Practice. “Célestes confins” exhibition, by Ben’Pastre (tel. 06.46.60.84.59) in Éloburo, 2, rue Percheronne, until December 18th. Open Monday and Wednesday, 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 8:30 am to 12:30 pm and 2 pm to 5:30 pm Free admission.
