Jeddah – The Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the world’s second largest organization after the United Nations, has a new headquarters in Jeddah. The OIC began operations at a new headquarters in the Al Rayyan area of northeast Jeddah. In Jeddah, the OIC headquarters was located near the intersection of Medina Road and Palestine Road. The new headquarters will further strengthen and support the work of the organization.

OIC Secretary General Hussain Twaha thanked His Highness King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman for the constant material and moral support provided by Saudi Arabia to the OIC and its affiliate boards. Saudi Arabia supports the Joint Islamic Action to ensure the good functioning of the organization. The new headquarters was presented to the OIC by Saudi Arabia. It helps the organization to perform its tasks. Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and OIC Secretary General thanked the organization for its support and assistance in carrying out its duties.
