Ohio woman charged with attacking McDonald’s workers in Slash

RAVINA, Ohio – An Ohio woman accused of attacking two McDonald’s employees said she refused to make him a slushie, authorities said.

Cherysse Helena Cleveland, 44, of Ravenna, was arrested Monday and charged with two counts of misdemeanor assault, according to Portage County online court records.

According to an accident report from the City of Ravenna Police Department, officers were dispatched to a McDonald’s restaurant in Ravenna on Monday at approximately 9:40 am EDT. WBNS mentioned.

The television station reported that Cleveland was seen attempting to hit multiple employees, according to police.

A preliminary investigation revealed that Cleveland went to a fast food restaurant to buy a bar, WJW mentioned. According to the incident report, Cleveland asked employees to mix the three flavors, the television station reported.

When workers said they couldn’t do it, Cleveland allegedly got angry and went behind the counter to mix the slush herself. WKYC mentioned.

The television station reported that when the manager of the McDonald’s restaurant tried to block Cleveland Road, he was punched. Another employee managed to get Cleveland out of the workplace, but was punched in the right eye.

The second employee was able to push Cleveland to the ground, WKYC mentioned.

Then Cleveland was arrested by the police. She was cited Tuesday, according to online court records.
