MAKOKOU, January 18, 2024 (AGP) – The governor of the Ogooué-Ivindo province, Christiane Leckat, chaired Thursday in Makokou, provincial capital, a preparatory meeting for the upcoming arrival, in this region of the North-East of country, of the President of the Transition, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, noted the AGP.
According to the depositary of State authority, this meeting allowed “ to inform administrative officials of the planned arrival of the Gabonese head of state » in the province of Ogooué-Ivindo. “ I’m talking about a project because until now, no date is yet known (…), but we know that whatever alpha, the President of the Republic will come to Makokou“, indicated Christiane Leckat.
This meeting, which brought together heads of administrative services, presidents of municipal and departmental councils, as well as commanders of units of the Defense and Security Forces, was also an opportunity to set up commissions for the organization of this arrival.
As part of his Republican tour, the President of the Transition, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, has already stayed in the provinces of Woleu-Ntem (North), Ogooué-Maritime (West) and Ngounié (South).
