PAE OFI’s announcement in detail about Della’s departure: “PAE OFI 1925 announces the mutual consent of the collaboration with the coach Mr. Traianos Della, after his resignation for personal reasons, which was accepted by the administration. From the first day he assumed the technical leadership of our team until today, Traianos Dellas and his colleagues, Mr. Vassilis Borbokis and Dimitris Bouroutzikas, showed absolute professionalism and respect to OFI, doing everything possible to achieve the goals set together.

We wish Mr. Dellas and his family, as well as his associates, good health and continue to contribute with their knowledge to Greek football. We are not saying goodbye, but see you again…”.

Tr. Dellas, for his part, stated: “After much thought and in full consultation with the management, I made the decision to leave the team, due to a very serious personal problem. All this time I tried with all my strength, together with my footballers, to first create a family and then a competitive team, worthy of the history of OFI and Crete, which the world will be happy to see in the stadium .

I feel privileged to have been the coach of OFI for about 8 months and I would like to thank the owner and president of the team, Mr. Michalis Bousi and his family for the honor they gave me and the opportunity they gave me, to be in “helm” of this group.

I thank the administration and personally Mr. Mina Lysandrou and Ilias Poursanidis for the excellent collaboration we had during these months. I thank all my partners who worked very hard every day to get the best possible result for the team on the field.

I thank the people of OFI for their support and respect for me and finally a big thank you to my footballers. The hard work we did, I hope that at the end of the season it will reward them and that they will achieve the goals that we all set at the beginning of the season.”

OFI has agreed with Milan Rastavac and the Serbian coach is expected to be in Crete this weekend to sign a cooperation contract.
