Piotr Stokowiec worked in Zagłębie Lubin in 2014-2017. In the first year of work, he was promoted to the league. He ended the next two seasons in 3rd and 9th place in the table, respectively. During the 2017/18 season, he went to Lechia Gdańskfrom which he was released in August 2021. So far, Stokowiec has been leading Zagłębie in 146 official matches, with an average of 1.64 points per game. Until the employment of a new coach, Paweł Karmelita led the team from Lubin.
