Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Three types of fuel oil (BBM), namely Pertamax Turbo, Dexlite and Pertamina Dex, experienced another price increase on August 3, 2022. Even though it has not been a month since PT Pertamina Patra Niaga last raised the price of fuel, namely on July 10, 2022.
Specifically, in DKI Jakarta, for example, the price of Pertamax Turbo (RON 98) increased from Rp. 16,200 per liter to Rp. 17,900, while Dexlite increased from Rp. 15,000 per liter to Rp. 17,800 per liter. Then, Pertamina Dex increased from Rp 16,500 per liter to Rp 18,900 per liter.
The price increases are different in each region such as in Banten, West Java, Central Java, DI Yogyakarta, East Java, Bali, West Nusa Tenggara, and East Nusa Tenggara to Papua.

Meanwhile, the price for the Special Assignment Fuel Type (JBKP) or Pertalite throughout Indonesia is still the same at IDR 7,650 per liter. While the price of Pertamax is still below the economy or Rp 12,500 per liter according to the region.
“PT Pertamina (Persero) made an adjustment to the price of general fuel oil (BBM) in order to implement the Ministerial Decree (Kepmen) ESDM No. 62 K/12/MEM/2020 concerning the Basic Price Formula in Calculation of the Retail Selling Price for General Types of Fuel Oil. Gasoline and Diesel Oil Distributed Through Public Fuel Filling Stations,” said Pertamina’s announcement quoted from its official website, quoted on Sunday (7/8/2022).
In fact, the price adjustment for the three types of non-subsidized fuel is under the authority of Pertamina, taking into account the high price of world crude oil, which is currently still perched above US$ 100 per barrel.
