The Saudi national team announced, a little while ago, through an official statement released this evening, Saturday, that one of its stars had been injured, before the start of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The draw by the International Federation of Association Football, FIFA, placed Saudi Arabia in Group C of the 2022 World Cup, alongside teams from Argentina, Poland and Mexico.
And the official account of the Saudi national team on the social network Twitter indicated that the player, Riyad Sharahili, had muscle pain, as a result of which he underwent medical examinations, without revealing the period of his absence from stadiums.

Riyad Sharahili enjoys coach Hervé Renard’s confidence as the French coach, the Abha player, has been placed on the World Cup list, in a big surprise as the 29-year-old had not previously played for his country.
Saudi Al-Akhdar will face his Argentine rival next Tuesday at 12:00 local time in Cairo in his first match of the 2022 World Cup.
Saudi Arabia have already passed the group stage once, in the 1994 edition, and are also the most Arab team to participate in the World Cup, equal to their Tunisian and Moroccan brothers, with 6 times.
