Officially.. The Moroccan national team protests against the “injustice” of the French referee

The Moroccan Football Federation announced on Thursday that it had lodged an official complaint with the International Federation of Games regarding an “referee injustice” suffered in Wednesday’s match against France (0-2) in the semifinal of the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

The Moroccan FA said in a statement: The Royal Moroccan Football League (Al-Ittihad) has strongly protested against the refereeing of the match of the Moroccan national team against the French national team, led by (Mexico) Cesar Arturo Ramos Palazuelos, explaining that they sent a letter to the competent body that included the arbitration cases that prevented the Moroccan national team from two clear punishments, with the testimony of arbitration specialists.

The federation added: “The university was surprised at the same time that the rat room (video assistant referee) was not notified of this.”

He continued: The Moroccan Football Federation says it will not hesitate to defend the rights of our team, demanding fairness in taking the necessary measures regarding the refereeing injustice that was practiced against the Moroccan national team in its match against the French national team, in the World Cup semi-final draw.

Moroccan officials are protesting the blocking of striker Sofiane Boufal inside the area by defender Theo Hernandez, who instead of conceding a penalty kick awarded French striker Angers a yellow card.

As for the second case, Aurelin Tchoamene caught midfielder Salim Amlah after a corner kick.
