Gadget – Details of Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) were officially revealed by Rockstar, the game developer. What’s interesting is that the GTA 6 game is certain to be available on PlayStation 5 (PS5) and Xbox Series X and S in 2025.
This news was confirmed through a press release issued by Rockstar’s parent company, Take-Two Interactive. However, the company has not provided any information regarding the release on PC devices.
GTA VI will likely come to PC eventually, but there’s no official word yet on when that will happen. This release strategy reflects the approach taken for previous GTA series.
Both Grand Theft Auto V and IV were released first on consoles, followed by PC ports. GTA 4 arrived on PC eight months after consoles, while GTA 5 took much longer, releasing 18 months after its console version.
The game’s trailer had been leaking online early on, but Rockstar Games quickly released an official version with the caption: “Our trailer has been leaked, so please watch the original on YouTube.”
The trailer itself is short but action-packed, showing the neon-lit streets of Vice City and its surroundings.
According to Take-Two, GTA 6 is “the biggest and most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series.”
