Temporarily, the “eagles” will be led by the coach of the second team of Ludogorets Zahari Sirakov with assistant Svetoslav Dyakov.

Here is the official announcement from Ludogorets:

“The management of PFC Ludogorets accepted the resignation of senior coach Georgi Dermendzhiev, which was submitted after the heavy loss against Karabakh in the III preliminary round of the Champions League. Dermendzhiev said goodbye to the players before training yesterday, and today his contract was officially terminated. With him his assistant Todor Zhivondov is also leaving. The team will be temporarily led by the senior coach of Ludogorets II Zahari Sirakov with assistant goalkeeper Zdravko Zdravkov. Sirakov has been in Ludogorets since January 2021 when he was appointed coach of Ludogorets III. At the end of 2023, he took over Ludogorets II, with which he achieved remarkable results from the beginning of the season in the Second League. At the moment, the double of Ludogorets, in which 16-17-year-old youths from the Academy predominate, occupies first place in the provisional ranking. For Georgi Dermendzhiev, this was the third period at the head of Ludogorets, in which he became the champion of Bulgaria and guaranteed another participation in the group phase of the European club tournaments”.
