After many rumors and leaks, the PC version of Returnal was officially announced today. It was revealed at The Game Awards gala held today.
At the moment we don’t know much about the release date. The trailer only notes that it will be available “soon”, so we may know the final release date in the coming months. The game was developed by Housemarque, which was bought by Sony in 2021.
Returnal was originally released in 2021, exclusively for PlayStation 5. This would be the first version to come out of Sony’s console, following its recent trend of releasing its latest games on PC, as has already happened with Horizon Zero Dawn, God of War, Death Stranding or Days Gone.
In our review of Returnal we gave it a Recommended stamp and said that “Returnal is a complex, spectacular and intense roguelite in which Housemarque explores new paths without losing the soul of bullet hell”.
