Now it’s official. Mergim Vojvoda is a Torino player. This is the official press release from the grenade club: “Torino Football Club is pleased to announce that it has definitively acquired the registration rights of the player Mergim Vojvoda from Standard Liège. The defender has signed a four-year contract.
Mergim Vojvoda was born in Llausha, Kosovo, on February 1, 1995. Raised as a footballer in the Standard Liege youth teams, he made his debut in the Belgian top flight with the Royal Excel Mouscron shirt in the 2016-2017 season. After three years, during which he made 103 league and cup appearances – even scoring two goals -, he returned to Standard Liège, where he played last season.
Vojvoda also boasts 22 appearances and a goal with the Kosovo national team.
