A couple of months ago we know already that year Call of Dutygames will be another sequel Modern Warfarethe reboot that was released in 2019. Therefore, the name does not come as a huge surprise, but now it is official that it is called Modern Warfare II, not to be confused with the old game of the same name. You can see the game’s logo in the Twitter video below.
Already last week, Activision began to tempt us with something going on by becoming completely silent on social media and changing profile pictures to what initially only seemed to be black backgrounds. Of course, people started tinkering with the pictures, and could then see that the character Ghost, from just Modern Warfare IIhid in the shadows.
Infinity Ward is responsible for the development, which is fitting because they were the ones who developed the original games. The project has previously described have “the most ambitious plan in the history of the brand”, so we can hope that they succeed in raising the level compared to Call of Duty: Vanguardwhich became a bit of a boy’s punk for the series, even though it was far from a total crash.
