There will be no skills to Lacanau and Anglet this summer.
Two QS 1,500 were on the program this summer in France: the Caribbean Lacanau Pro 2020 (scheduled from August 11 to 16) and Deeply Pro Anglet 2020 (scheduled from August 25 to 30). The two events are canceled.
Predictably, the Anglet Night Surf will not take place this year. Here, last year’s edition.

“The prolongation of the state of health emergency, the restrictions of movement as well as the prohibition to organize events welcoming the public are unfortunately not compatible with the holding of such competitions” specifies the World Surf League via a press release. The fault of impossibility to guarantee the organization of these events under satisfactory conditions.

I had several comments which told me that this year it would be more shows than I anticipated, that’s why I started this season more to video, to film my typical day, a little in the form of Vlog but in a different way anyway from what we see. I will try to bring out my personality.
But it’s a shame because these French competitions, for a few years I have been doing them and I love it. It is next to the house, it allows you to train, it is in front of the French public … Especially since the Quik Pro should also be canceled this year, it’s really a shame. I personally think that it will be canceled, these are the echoes that I had. I hope they will find a solution but from what I heard it will be deleted. ”
Last year, Jorgann Couzinet won a wildcard to participate in Quik Pro France.
