It’s finally official, Teun Koopmeiners is a new Juventus player! After long weeks of waiting, the Dutch midfielder has finally signed his contract.

Since the start of the transfer window, Teun Koopmeiners has been a priority for Juventus and Thiago Motta. However, the negotiations with Atalanta were not simple and took a long time. The player’s will was sure, he only wanted Juventus. The move is now officialfor a sum of €51.3 million, plus incidental costs of up to €3.4 million. There are also 6 million euros in bonuses, if certain sporting goals are achieved. He signed a 5-year contract, until June 30, 2029.

Since his first season in Serie A Teun Koopmeiners is the midfielder who scored the most goals in the Italian competition (26). Furthermore, no player has scored more goals from outside the box than himself in the Italian first division, with a total of 9 goals (such as Paulo Dybala, Ruslan Malinovskii and Dusan Vlahovic). So Thiago Motta has one more quality player in his team, which is very promising for the future!
