Minister of Health Budi Gunawan Sadikin signed a decree containing the highest retail price for drugs commonly used during the pandemic Covid-19.
The price is explained through the Decree of the Minister of Health number HK.01.07/MENKES/4826/2021 which was signed on July 2, 2021.
“So we have set the highest retail prices for 11 drugs that are often used during the Covid-19 pandemic,” Budi said in an online press conference, Saturday (2/7).
The list of drugs whose sales prices are regulated are:
1. Favipiravir 200 mg tablets IDR 22.5 thousand.
2. Remdesivir 100 g Injection per vial, IDR 510 thousand.
3. Oseltamivir 75 mg per capsule, Rp26 thousand.
4. Intravenous Immunoglobulin 5 percent 50 ml Infusion, per vial Rp3.262.300,-.
5. Intravenous Immunoglobulin 10 percent 25 ml Infusion, per vial IDR 3,965,000,-.
6. Intravenous Immunoglobulin 10 percent 50 ml Infusion, per vial Rp6.174.900,-.
7. Ivermectin 12 mg per tablet Rp. 7.5 thousand.
8. Tocilizumab 400 mg/20 ml Infus, per vial Rp5.710.600,-.
9. Tocilizumab 80mg/4 ml Infus, per vial Rp1.162.200,-.
10. Azithromycin 500 mg, per tablet Rp1.7 thousand.
11. Azithromycin 500 mg Infus, per vial Rp95.400,-.
“The country is present for the people, I am emphasizing here as instructed by Mr. Menko. I am very emphatic here to be obeyed,” he added.
In this case, he said, the government will take firm action if there are individuals who sell the drugs above the price limit that has been determined.
The HET in question is the highest selling price marketed at pharmacies, hospital pharmacy installations, or clinics and applies throughout Indonesia.
