Official results: Duda – Abroad – News won the first round of the Polish presidential election

According to the results obtained after counting more than 99% of the ballots, Duda, supported by the ruling national conservative party “Law and Justice” (PiS), won 43.7% of the vote.

In turn, 30.3% of voters supported the candidate of the opposition conservative party “Civic Platform” (PO).

The third place was taken with 13.9% of the votes by the independent candidate Shimon Holovnija, who won 13.9% of the votes.

None of the other eight candidates has passed the 10% threshold.

Voter turnout was 64.4%.

The election commission has announced that the final results of the vote count will be announced no later than Thursday morning.
