Now it’s official: Soualiho Meite is a new Milan player. Below is the press release from the Rossoneri club: “AC Milan is pleased to announce that it has acquired on a temporary basis with the right of option for the definitive acquisition of the sports performances of the footballer Soualiho Meïté from Torino FC. The midfielder joins the Rossoneri club until June 30, 2021.
Born in Paris (France) on 17 March 1994, Soualiho Meïté grew up in the Auxerre youth sector with which he made his debut in Ligue 1 in 2011, collecting 24 appearances and 2 goals. In 2013 he moved to LOSC Lille with whom he made 41 appearances in 3 seasons, before moving to Belgium, at Zulte Waregem, with whom he played 58 games and scored 2 goals. In the 2017/18 season he returned to France, first to Monaco (3 appearances) and then to Bordeaux (19 games and 1 goal) and in the summer of 2018 he moved to Turin with whom he collected 94 appearances and 3 goals in two and a half seasons .
The midfielder will wear the 18 “jersey.
