Christopher McVey left Elfsborg for Inter Miami ahead of the 2021 season and has been loyal to the team ever since.
But new, it will be a new MLS assignment for the 26-year-old. DC United confirmed the transfer on Thursday.
– Chris is an experienced defender who can play in several positions in the back line. We are excited to welcome him to the team and deepen our defence, DC United general manager Ally Mackay told the club’s website.
In total, McVey made 61 Inter Miami appearances, and this past season he has had the opportunity to play with Lionel Messi. In Elfsborg he made 42 appearances.
