Manchester –
Christian Eriksen finally found a new club for next season. The Danish midfielder has officially strengthened Manchester United.
Eriksen is without a club after his contract expired with Brentford at the end of last season. At that time Eriksen was only contracted for six months after recovering from recovery after heart surgery which made him collapse at Euro 2020.
Eriksen had been absent for half a year and only trained lightly with local Danish clubs and Ajax Amsterdam. Status without a club makes Eriksen attracted by many big European clubs such as Tottenham Hotspur, Ajax, and Manchester United.

After considering the incoming offer, Eriksen decided to accept the proposal of MU who needed his strength in midfield. Eriksen also completed his move, Friday (15/7/2022) evening WIB after undergoing a series of medical tests.
He also signed a three-year contract and will soon join his colleagues who are undergoing a pre-season tour in Australia.
“Manchester United is a special club and I can’t wait to get started. I often play at Old Trafford, but it’s amazing of course to play in United’s red shirt,” Eriksen said on the club’s official website.
“I’ve seen Erik’s performance at Ajax and know how he and his staff are so detailed in preparing everything. It’s clear he is a fantastic coach,” he continued,
“I’m even more curious about what the future holds, after talking to him and studying his vision and the way his team plays. I still have big ambitions, there are big targets I can achieve, and this is the perfect place to continue my career.”
