LIST 33 players Indonesian National Team (Timnas) U-23 to compete in the 2022 U-23 Asian Cup Qualifiers has been released. Indonesian National Team Coach, Shin Tae-yong, will immediately step on the gas after leading the Senior National Team.
As is known, Indonesia will compete in the U-23 Asian Cup Qualification on 27 October to 2 November 2021. No doubt, preparations will be made soon so 33 players have been called up.
In these 33 names, there are names of subscribers who are also members of the Senior National Team. The mainstay players, such as Egy Maulana, Witan Sulaeman, and Asnawi Mangkualam.
Then, there were also a number of players who got their debut calls for the U-23 national team. The debutants were Ronaldo Joybera Junior, Marselino Ferdinand, Eka Febri, and Beckham Putra.
At the event, Indonesia was in Group G along with two other countries. Australia and China will be tough challengers for Garuda Muda. Previously, there was the name Brunei Darussalam but it has withdrawn from the event.

The plan is that the Garuda U-23 squad group will leave for Tajiskitan on October 12, 2021. Beckham Putra and his friends will gather for a training camp next week.

Regarding the 33 names called, the General Chairperson of PSSI, Mochamad Iriawan, hopes that Garuda Muda can show the best performance. They are also targeted to qualify for the U-23 Asian Cup in Uzbekistan.
“After participating in the 2023 Asian Cup qualifying playoffs, coach Shin Tae-yong will continue to lead the U-23 national team for the 2022 AFC U-23 Cup qualification in Tajikistan. The players immediately undergo a training camp in Tajikistan starting next week,” said Mochamad Iriawan, reported from the official PSSI website, Saturday (9/10/2021).
“We hope that with good preparation, the Indonesian national team can qualify for the 2022 U-23 Asian Cup. PSSI continues to support the coach coach Shin Tae-yong’s program for the achievement of the Indonesian national team,” he continued.
For additional information, China will be the first opponent of the Red and White Team on October 27. The match will be held at the Republican Central Stadium, Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
