This Monday, Sporting announced João Pereira as the new coach of the main team.

In a statement to CMVM, the lions also named the technical committee that accompanies the 40-year-old coach.

• Tiago Teixeira (assistant head coach);
• António Calça e Pina (assistant coach);
• Luís Neto (technical assistant);
• José Caldeira (technical assistant responsible for dead balls);
• Hugo Tecelão (goalkeeper coach);
• Tiago Ferreira (goalkeeper coach).

It is worth mentioning that Tiago Ferreira is the only one who will move from Ruben Amorim’s team. Also worth mentioning is the name Luís Neto, such as the More football has already made progresswho ended his career as a Sportsman last season and is now returning as an assistant.

Although not mentioned in the statement, Gonçalo Álvaro is also moving from the technical team of Ruben Amorim and becoming a physical trainer.

João Pereira will be presented this Monday, at 12pm, in the VIP Hall of the José Alvalade Stadium.
