Jakarta, Selular.ID – Huawei Consumer Business Group (CBG) released a new smartwatch, the Huawei Watch GT 3, with two sizes, 46 and 42 mm. The smartwatch comes with Huawei’s new operating system, HarmonyOS.
Patrick Ru, Country Head of Huawei CBG Indonesia, said that the Huawei Watch GT 3 comes with a design that not only refers to a sporty approach, but is also classic.
Patrick explained, Huawei Watch GT 3 is equipped with minimalist lugs, large lenses, and a lightweight design on the 46mm Huawei Watch GT 3 visuals. If without a strap, this smart watch only weighs 42.6 fram and is 11mm thick for the 46mm variant. Meanwhile, the 42mm variant is more minimalist because it weighs 35grams and an overall thickness of 10.2mm.
Not only the visual design, the interface and operation is easy, users can enjoy the rotating crown which provides an intelligent interactive experience and a high level of precision when touched by a finger.
“This is also supported by the chessboard design that can be enlarged and moved freely for a high level of comfort,” explained Patrick, at the launch event which was held virtually, (08/11/21).

To adopt a healthy lifestyle, Huawei Watch GT 3, has comprehensive improvements and a new interface design. One of the excellent features in this smartwatch is TruSeenTM 5.0+ which is useful for monitoring heart rate more accurately.
The presence of heart rate monitoring technology, namely Huawei TruSeenTM 5.0 in the Huawei Watch GT 3, is the highest standard for smartwatches. The technology adopts 8 photodiodes in a circular layout, two light sources from the chip through 8 in 1 LED lens.
In fact, this smartwatch can perform perfect monitoring when the heart rate changes rapidly. Like when swimming, running, to jump rope. Huawei Watch GT 3 also features Sp02 monitoring, sleep quality, stress levels, to continuous and accurate menstrual cycles. As well as battery life of up to 14 days for the 46mm variant and 7 days for the 42mm.
“In addition, there is also a Personal AI Running Coach that will help you personalize your running activity so that it can be adjusted to the user’s goals and abilities,” said Patrick.
Supported 100 training modes
This smartwatch is also equipped with an enhanced workout monitoring feature. In total there are more than 100 training modes, including 18 professional training modes, 12 outdoor exercises such as running, walking, mountain climbing, cycling, swimming, golf, and many more.
There are also 6 indoor exercises which include cycling, swimming in the pool, freelethics, to rowing.
Huawei Watch GT 3 will record, analyze user training data, and intelligently identify the results according to the user’s level and ability. Huawei Watch GT 3 is available for pre-order both offline and online from November 8 – 26, 2021, at a price of IDR 3,499,000 46mm for the Classic Edition, and IDR 3,399,000 for the Active Edition version with a black fluoroelastomer strap.
