Montpellier Hérault Rugby formalizes the arrival of New Zealand pillar Karl Tu’inukuafe as additional player for this 2022/2023 season. The All Black have signed a three-season contract that will tie him to the club until 2025.
Arriving at Hérault on Sunday, the left pillar of the national team was presented to the public before the kick-off of the match against Stade Toulousain. Auckland native Karl Tu’inukuafe trained at Wesley College in Pukekohe before making his professional debut at North Harbor Rugby.
After a brief stint at Narbonne during the 2015-2016 season, he moved on to Super Rugby, first with the Chiefs and then with the Blues franchise. With 27 appearances for the All Blacks, he now joins the Montpellier squad for which he will be an important reinforcement.
