According to the health department, there were two more corona deaths in Freiburg and the neighboring district over the weekend. The incidence values have also risen again.
. Two people died from or with the corona virus over the weekend. One each from Freiburg and one from the Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald district. This increases the number of deaths to 243 (Freiburg: 115; district: 128). This was announced by the health department, which is located at the Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald district office, on Sunday (as of 8:20 a.m.). For Friday and Saturday, the authority reports 59 new infections in the city and 66 in the neighboring area. This means that the number of all infected people has risen by 125 since spring to 9691 (city: 4580; district: 5111).
The incidence value, i.e. the number of newly infected people per 100,000 inhabitants in the past seven days, has risen again according to the State Health Office: to 107.4 in the district and 111.6 in the urban area. The national average is 142.4.
