WASHINGTON, KOMPAS.TV – Jack Sweeney, a 19-year-old boy, was offered by Tesla owner Elon Musk $5,000 to delete his Twitter that tracked the billionaire’s private jet.
However, Musk’s offer was immediately rejected by Sweeney, and he asked for $50,000.
Sweeney’s Twitter account @ElonJet has more than 150,000 followers.
The microblog account uses a bot developed by Sweeney to monitor Musk’s private jet.

The account tweeted when and where Musk’s private jet took off and the duration of each trip.
The young man, who is also a freshman, has developed about a dozen other flight bot accounts that track the journeys of famous tech giants, including Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos.
Quoted from CNN, Musk sent a direct message to Sweeney on November 30 last.
“Can you delete it. This is a security risk,” Musk’s message read.
Musk also offered the young man $5,000 to help him deter a lunatic from tracking his flight.
