Offenburg: Aggressive behavior of a man at the Offenburg train station – 40-year-old known to the public insulted federal police officers

Last night the federal police were on the phone
informed about a male person at the Offenburg train station who was on the platform and who, according to the caller, was fiddling with a knife. Immediately several patrols from the state and federal police drove to the station and were able to find a well-known German national there.

Because of his aggressive and unruly behavior, the man was handcuffed and taken to the police station. During the search, instead of a knife, only a wooden recorder was found, which the reporter presumably perceived as a knife. After the police measures were completed, the 40-year-old was sent off to Offenburg train station due to his behavior and lack of travel intentions. He complied with this, but acknowledged it with an insult to the officers deployed.
