Offenbach – According to initial police findings in Offenbach, the 29-year-old injured person visited an early Saturday morning with a companion Bar in Offenbach. At around 4.50 a.m., a violent conflict broke out in front of the bar door, in which a 40-year-old suspect allegedly hit the man from Obertshausen.

The casualty was not far from the bar in the B-level after the palpable argument Schloßstrasse found in Offenbach with an obviously serious head injury.

The 29-year-old injured had to hospital to be operated on immediately. He receives intensive medical care. According to the police in Offenbach, his state of health is said to be critical.

The Offenbach police succeeded on Sunday morning arrest of a 40-year-old suspect. The Public prosecutor’s office in Darmstadt – Offenbach branch – took over the investigation.

Injured in Offenbach: police hope for witnesses

The alleged perpetrator was brought to the judge’s office on Sunday at the request of the public prosecutor. Pre-trial detention warrants were issued, but were suspended under strict conditions.

The investigation is ongoing. The Kripo Offenbach now asks possible witnesses of the dispute for information under the number 069 8098-1234.
