(jm) Car thieves were on the loose in Offenbach on Thursday night: between 6.30 p.m. and 8 a.m. they stole a Toyota Land Cruiser on Ahornstraße (house number 40). OF license plates were attached to the white Toyota. Witnesses who can provide information about the theft and the whereabouts of the valuable vehicle should please contact the police hotline on 069 8098-1234.
(fg) The police are looking for witnesses to damage to property that took place between Tuesday evening, 9 p.m. and Thursday morning, 11 a.m., at an entrance gate of the local church on “Am Steinberg” street (80s house numbers). During the said crime period, unknown persons damaged the access gate in order to apparently get into a covered anteroom; this resulted in damage of around 100 euros. A group of young people who probably stayed there could possibly be responsible for the damage to property. Please contact the guard at the Dietzenbach police station on 06074 837-0.
(fg) On Wednesday morning, a traffic accident occurred at the intersection of Weiher/Wiesenstraße, in which a 47-year-old Mercedes passenger was slightly injured. At around 8.15 a.m., a 35-year-old woman from Breuberg (Odenwaldkreis) was driving her gray Opel Crosslab on Weiherstrasse. At the same time, a 74-year-old Dietzenbacher drove down Wiesenstrasse in a black Mercedes E-Class. The collision occurred at the intersection, with the 47-year-old passenger of the Mercedes suffering minor knee injuries. He told the deployed patrol crew that he would see a doctor on his own. Apparently, the 35-year-old overlooked the right-of-way Mercedes, which is why the collision occurred. The total damage was around 32,500 euros. After the collision, the Mercedes was thrown onto a property in the area of the 40 house numbers. A street lamp and the property fence were damaged over a length of around ten meters. (aa) After a young person was sexually harassed by a passenger on Wednesday evening in Eisenbahnstrasse when she got off the bus at the train station, the police are looking for witnesses. The young woman boarded the number 85 bus to Zellhausen on Anne-Frank-Strasse in Froschhausen and sat at the very back. Two rows of seats in front of her was a man around 45 years old and 1.70 meters tall. Already on the journey, the stranger looked at her several times in a shameful manner. When the teenager walked past the man at around 7.40 p.m. to get out, he immorally grabbed her back thigh. The perpetrator was slim with short black hair and a short gray beard. He was wearing a gray coat, blue jeans and black leather shoes. He stayed on the bus. The criminal police are now asking the other passengers and witnesses to call 069 8098-1234.

(aa) After a shock phone call and the handover of valuables on Wednesday evening in Eichen, the criminal police are looking for witnesses. Residents or passers-by who have noticed a suspicious dark/grey car around the elevated road should report. The pickup truck, about 1.70 meters tall, got into such a car. The victim had handed him valuables around 10:15 p.m. The perpetrator had short curly hair, was slightly stocky and dressed dark. Please contact: 06181 100-123.
Who saw the burglary at the shisha bar? – Maintal
(fg) Early on Friday morning, two strangers broke into a shisha bar in the street “Am Kreuzstein” and fled apparently unfinished things because an acoustic alarm had been triggered. At around 2:45 a.m., the intruders smashed a window of the bar. According to initial findings, one of the strangers then climbed inside through the damaged pane while the accomplice waited in front of the premises. Presumably due to the acoustic alarm being triggered, the two strangers made off. One of the perpetrators was slim and was wearing a quilted jacket with a hood and dark trousers. The accomplice had a strong stature and wore a mouth and nose cover. The criminal police will take tips on 06181 100-123.
(fg) The police are looking for a fraudster who pretended to be a craftsman in Heinestrasse on Thursday afternoon and under this pretext stole cash from a local resident. At around 1:15 p.m., the approximately 35-year-old man of normal stature rang the doorbell of the family home and stated that there had been a water pipe burst in the street. Therefore, he now has to control the flow in the house. Shortly after leaving the house, the resident realized that she had apparently been taken in by a scammer. The intruder, who was wearing a dark blue down jacket and had a mustache, stole cash from the purse. The stranger is said to have rang the bell at a neighboring house beforehand. The criminal police are hoping for more witnesses and asks for notification under the number 06051 827-0.
(jm) Unknown persons stole a parked Audi Q 7 on Marburger Strasse on Thursday night. The high-quality gray vehicle, to which MKK license plates were attached, disappeared between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. The Kripo asks for information about the theft and the whereabouts of the SUV by calling 06181 100-123.
