(jm) Thieves stole the steering wheel from a BMW X6 parked on Carl-von-Ossietzky-Weg near the 10 house numbers. Early Thursday morning, around 1:15 am, the owner reported to police that he saw two suspicious people with cell phone flashlights. When he returned to his vehicle, he noticed that the triangular windows were broken and the steering wheel was missing. The two people are said to have been dressed in dark clothes. One was about 1.90 meters tall and thin. The other was shorter (about 6 feet tall). Witnesses who can provide further information can call 069 8098-1234.
(kb) During the night between Tuesday (19:00) and Wednesday (7:30), all permanently installed electronics were stolen from a Mini parked on Breslauer Straße (house number 40). (kb) At around 18:30 on Wednesday evening, significant obstacles arose on the federal road 486 between Langen and Mörfelden-Walldorf after an accident between a car and a semi-trailer. According to initial findings, a 46-year-old truck driver turned at the intersection of Federal Road and County Road 168 and apparently overlooked an oncoming 35-year-old BMW driver. Both vehicles were badly damaged and had to be towed. There was property damage of around 20,000 euros. As resources also ran out, firefighters and the road maintenance department were also on site. Disabilities at the crash site lasted until approximately 10pm. The BMW driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital as a precaution. As there were indications that the truck driver might be under the influence of alcohol, a blood test was ordered. Investigations into this matter are ongoing.

The black car was parked on the property in the single-digit house number area and disappeared between Tuesday 5:30pm and Wednesday 5:40am. ABOUT license plates were attached to the car. The judicial police ask for information on the theft and the location of the A6 by calling 069 8098-1234.
(kb) On the night of 6 December, unknown persons smashed two windows of a BMW 7 Series parked in the “Leipziger Ring” street (60 street numbers). After that, they disassembled the steering wheel and removed the speedometer. With the speedometer, the car thieves got away undetected; they may have left the removed steering wheel behind because they may have been disturbed while carrying out the crime. (fg) After a physical injury on Wednesday afternoon at the bus stop on Würzburger Straße, the police are looking for witnesses. A 16-year-old was said to have been pushed and kicked by a 17-18 year old stranger at around 1.20pm for reasons that are not yet known. Other people may have been involved in the accident. The unknown man about 1.70 meters tall, wearing a white quilted jacket, would have boarded bus 86 with other people after the attack. Stolen mini excavator – Maintal
(kb) Strangers stole a yellow Komatsu mini excavator from a construction site on Alter Kesselstädter Weg (house numbers in single digits) on Tuesday evening. The excavator, which is valued at around 50,000 euros, was allegedly loaded onto an unknown vehicle on a surrounding street and driven away.
