(jm) Thieves stole the steering wheel from a BMW X6 parked on Carl-von-Ossietzky-Weg near the 10 house numbers. Early Thursday morning, around 1:15 am, the owner reported to police that he saw two suspicious people with cell phone flashlights. When he returned to his vehicle, he noticed that the triangular windows were broken and the steering wheel was missing. The two people are said to have been dressed in dark clothes. Stolen mini excavator – Maintal

(kb) Strangers stole a yellow Komatsu mini excavator from a construction site on Alter Kesselstädter Weg (house numbers in single digits) on Tuesday evening. The excavator, which is valued at around 50,000 euros, was allegedly loaded onto an unknown vehicle on a surrounding street and driven away.
