Since this Saturday, the mask is mandatory in Belgium in stores, closed public places, shopping centers, cinemas, etc. Among our French neighbors, several doctors published this Saturday evening a column in the pages of our colleagues from Parisien in which they claim the wearing of the compulsory mask in closed public places.

In a gallery unveiled this Saturday by The Parisian, caregivers claim that the wearing of the mask is “compulsory in all enclosed public places”, to avoid the Covid-19 epidemic from resuming, while the authorities are on the alert at the start of the holidays.
“In France, the indicators are still green for the most part, but weak signals are starting to appear and should alert us to a possible massive restart of transmissions,” write these doctors.
“However, it is at this stage that action must be taken to avoid a new massive and deadly wave. When the clusters are more numerous and uncontrollable, it will be too late to avoid a new, more or less complete containment. The second wave of tomorrow is therefore preparing today. […] Unlike the beginning of the year, we now know that an effective preventive measure is the respect of barrier gestures in crowded enclosed spaces. Wearing a mask is therefore an important condition to limit the spread of the virus. We are used to it, even if it remains uncomfortable, and today we have the necessary stocks. Wearing a mask does not only aim to protect yourself, but also to prevent the spread of the virus; as long as everyone wears it! […] It would therefore be very unfortunate not to use these effective and accessible means which are: the wearing of the compulsory mask in all enclosed public places, physical distancing as much as possible, and hand washing “write the caregivers in this forum entitled “Masked but free!” “
