OeSV sailors fix two Olympic quota places in front of The Hague

Vadlau and Mähr will fight for a medal on Thursday

Dhe Austrian Sailing Association has secured two quota places for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris at the World Championships in The Hague. Lara Vadlau and Lukas Mähr entered the Medal Race on Wednesday in the 470 class as the fourth best team overall and thus won the national ticket for Austria. Another fixed Benjamin Bildstein and David Hussl with a fourth place in the last race of the 49er gold fleet.

On Thursday, Vadlau/Mähr will fight for a medal in the final race of the top ten boats. Bildstein/Hussl missed the Medal Race. The duo from the Yacht Club Bregenz came in twelfth, but Austria was the tenth best nation, which brought in the Olympic quota place.
