T-Mobile Netherlands is now called Odido. The telecom company continues as an independent Dutch brand and makes unlimited calls and internet the standard. The Tele2 brand name will also be replaced by Odido.
The company wants to sail a different course under the flag of Odido than under the name T-Mobile. “Odido is not about technology, it’s about people,” says CEO Søren Abildgaard. Customers should especially notice this in Odido’s services.
For example, the provider will receive a connection service with which customers can report to Odido if their coverage is poor. This will be done by phone for the time being, but will soon also be possible via an app. The company also says it wants to rely less on automatic answers for its customer service and wants to focus on human contact, also outside office hours and on weekends.
“All telecom providers now do more or less the same thing,” says commercial director Tisha van Lammeren of Odido. “If you dare to take a critical look at your own products and services, you realize that things have to change. People are concerned about internet safety, find unlimited internet or fiber optic expensive and calling customer service remains an inconvenience.”
Concerns about data bundle should disappear
At Odido, unlimited data and calls become the standard. “Everyone should always be able to be connected and not have to worry about data limits,” says the provider.
That is why there are new subscriptions with unlimited mobile internet that match the wishes of the customer. Odido offers four different Unlimited subscriptions with unlimited calling and internet. The differences are in the speeds of the subscriptions offered. They range from 10 Mbit per second to 1 Gbit per second.
The most expensive Sim Only subscription costs 49.50 euros per month. The cheapest is 27.50 euros per month. There are also mobile subscriptions without unlimited bundles.
It is also still unclear what the repositioning of T-Mobile and Tele2 means for existing customers. Incidentally, not all brands of the company disappear. So Simpel and Ben remain active and Tele2 Home also continues to exist.
