After winning two bronze and one gold medal at the Olympic Games in Paris, Sifan Hassan was extensively honored in the TeamNL house. She carried a special Dutch flag in which the names of fifty people from the team behind Sifan were integrated. With this, the team behind the athlete was also put in the spotlight a little.
The flag was an initiative of Odido, in collaboration with TBWANeboko. In the campaign that ran during the Olympic Games, Odido had already taken the team behind the athlete as a starting point. In this Olympic year, the support of trainers, team members, family and fans is even more important for the athletes of TeamNL. To emphasise the role of these people and to make the ‘team’ behind the athlete visible, Odido introduced the Team Flag. A Dutch flag, symbol of pride and victory, as the bearer of the idea.

Fans were allowed to leave their name and a message of support for the athletes on a special website. These were immortalized on the Team flag. The names and support of the fans were integrated into the campaign, tribute moments and other important TeamNL moments during the Games.
